Dave Hopkins joined Morfacts Mortgage Center in 2002 and has secured over $100,000,000 in real estate loans for clients in the San Diego area. His specialty is residential lending with an excellent track record arranging financing for first time homebuyers with little or no down payment. Dave was born in Columbia, Missouri, raised in Santa Monica, California, graduating from Santa Monica High in 1976. Dave majored in biology and minored in chemistry at the University of Colorado in Boulder, graduating in 1981. Dave then moved to South Florida and the Florida Keys where he created and sold a series of businesses including a sailing school, a sail loft, a beach concession, and a surf shop. He then returned to Southern California to found a publishing company, which he owned and operated for 10 years. With the myriad of mortgage products available today, his goal is for his clients to look back 5 years from now and know they took the right approach to their real estate financing. According to Dave “There are a lot of programs that look good today but can really bite you down the line, my job is to help my clients through that maze and come out with the best possible plan.” In his spare time Dave enjoys playing beach volleyball, surfing and sailing with his family. |
